Our team works together to deliver successful meetings to our clients. While each member of the team has specific experience in all aspects of meeting planning, our success is based on the ability of our team to work together before, during and after each meeting.
Each of the team members assigned to your account is a tenured member of our company. They each hold meeting planning certifications, training in CPR and first aid and provide leadership in emergency situations. Mary Russell, President & CEO
As the founder and president of Hamilton Group Meeting Planners, Mary brings almost 30 years of experience in developing exceptional meetings and events. Her
technological, sales and negotiation background, as well as her ability to recruit stars within the meeting planning industry, quickly earned her company a solid reputation with clients and hotels. HGMP is among the top clients of the largest brands in hospitality, including Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, Shangri-La and Intercontinental hotels.
As the president of HGMP, Mary is actively involved in major accounts and maintains ongoing relationships with hotels, association management organizations, convention and visitor bureaus and destination management companies.
Zabrina Hazeltine, Vice President, Certified Meeting Planner
Known for her exceptional organizational, planning and execution skills, Zabrina excelled as a meeting manager for HGMP before being promoted to Vice President. In addition to racking up international meeting planning experience (more than 100,000 miles traveled each year), she was instrumental in the development of HGMP’s meeting planning technology and Web-based tools that are now standard to the company’s practices. In addition to being an advocate for the needs of the client, Zabrina’s experience is the cornerstone of HGMP’s successful meeting execution and integration of technology to maximize efficiency and quality.
Lisa Gutierrez, Director of Operations
With meetings scattered throughout the world, Lisa is the operations home base that allows the onsite meeting managers to concentrate on the needs of their clients and attendees. With 14 years of experience with HGMP, Lisa’s personal familiarity with the world’s most popular event locations gives her an intuitive knowledge of which properties are ideal for specific client needs. This experience combined with her ability to manage contracts, deadlines, negotiations and arrangements ensures the accuracy and precision for which HGMP is known.
Neeta Lakhani, Senior Meeting Manager
As a proven meeting manager, Neeta is an expert at facilitating the objectives of HGMP’s clients through successful events. Her detail-oriented approach and her ability to fulfill the comfort of her attendees have made Neeta an indispensable part of her clients’ meeting planning and management teams. In addition, Neeta’s education and background give her unique insight into her clients’ business needs and goals.
